How is it that we only have a short time to enjoy the little moments when our babies are young?! They grow up soooooooooooooo fast! As I am getting all my kidos ready to go back to school, it hit me, like a great big slap in the face! My daughter is going to be a Senior in high school and my oldest son a Freshman! I can not believe it! I had my first two children pretty young, had my daughter at 20yrs old. You don't realize starting a family that young, how much you should cherish all the little moments. I'm not saying I didn't enjoy or love my two older children, but you want them to crawl, sleep through the night, be potty trained and do things for themselves, without realizing they are only babies for a short while, a very short while!
Having two more children later in life sheds a totally different light on things. I appreciate all the little moments! I don't mind getting up in the middle of the night, I don't care that my 7month old isn't crawling, I don't mind my 5yr old crawling in bed with us in the middle of the night, because I know very soon the inevitable will happen. She will crawl, sleep through the night, be potty trained, and those interrupted nights of Ryan coming in our room will all come to an end. SO.... I cherish every little step I have with them no matter what it is.

Thanks for reading and commenting! Yes Jaclynn and Gevin were sooooo cute! I remember all the cute things they used to say! Jac would say " It's not funny and it's not true" for just about everything, she was a little clown! And remember Gevin said "Oma yous not fat yous just fluffy!"
That's so sweet what you said, Jen, about cherishing those precious moments. I have the fondest memories of my precious grandchildren and also of my own children and you too Jen. Thank God for pictures, they help us to remember those precious memories.
